I always seem to forget the different techniques in Word and Excel to temporarily cancel an autocorrect. Anyway, in Excel after a space in the formula bar, the acronym will change but CTRL-Z will switch it back. Word and Excel use the same autocorrect file and I prefer to not make permanent changes.
