Why do I get a value error when I try to copy an example from excel help that
includes an nper function and a formula? What do I need to do to not get the
value erro?

Is this the example from the NPER function?
- In the Help example, select everything to the right & down starting with
the word Data. Do not select the A & B across the top or the numbers 1-6
along the left side.
- Press Ctrl+C to copy the selection to the clipboard.
- On a new worksheet, select cell A1. It must be A1 for the example to work.
- Press Ctrl+V to paste the data.
- Select Format Cells Alignment. Uncheck the wrap text box and click
OK.
- Resize the columns. Everything should be okay.
