Excel Formula Question
so, column A has inches of oil, column B has gallons based on inches
(=A2*126). Are you aying you receive addiitional gallons and want them to calculate, or merely that you can't add the prior day's gallons to the current day? For the prior, merely add a column for gallons received and have your total equal column B plus column C. If the latter, row 3 = C2+B3, copy formula down. If else, not sure what your spreadsheet is attempting. I can not seem to come up with a formula that will add gallons and inches of fuel back in to the row should I receive a oil delivery during the month. Ex: On the first day of the month i have 70 inches of oil that is multiplied by 126 totaling 8,820 gallons. On day 2 I have 66 inches of oil for a total of 8,316 gallons and so on. Say on day 13 i am down to 50 inches and i receive 3,780 gallons of oil it will not add back in my rows to calculate what i just received. I do have a copy of the spreadsheet that I would be happy to send to any one if they could contact me via e-mail with any suggestions at |
