With
A1: (a starting date) Try this: If you have the Analysis ToolPak installed A2: =WORKDAY(A1,1) or... if you don't A2: =A1+CHOOSE(WEEKDAY(A1,2),1,1,1,1,3,2,1) Either way, copy B2 down as far as you need. Does that help? Post back if you have more questions. -------------------------- Regards, Ron Microsoft MVP (Excel) (XL2003, Win XP) "mdorrill" wrote in message ... i have a scheduling spreadsheet, and need a way of having the dates run consecutively instead of having to manually type each one, i.e mon 03/03 tues 04/03 weds 05/03 thurs 06/03 fri 07/03 mon 10/03 tues 11/03 weds 12/03 thurs 13/03 fri 14/03 and so on and so on, thanks, marie |

Hi,
You can drag dates to achieve that. With a date in A1 put this in b1 and drag whenever required. =WORKDAY(A1,1) "mdorrill" wrote: i have a scheduling spreadsheet, and need a way of having the dates run consecutively instead of having to manually type each one, i.e mon 03/03 tues 04/03 weds 05/03 thurs 06/03 fri 07/03 mon 10/03 tues 11/03 weds 12/03 thurs 13/03 fri 14/03 and so on and so on, thanks, marie |
