DATA / VALIDATION / List
Hi,
I want to apply data validation to a column wherein I would prefer to have a drop-down of certain preferred values. But I would also like to leave the option for the user to enter any other value (thus not force the user to select something from the drop-down list). Is there a way to achieve this? Many thanks in anticipation. |

Go to the Error Alert tab in the validation dialog and uncheck the "Show
error alert.." Check box. -- HTH... Jim Thomlinson "DKS" wrote: Hi, I want to apply data validation to a column wherein I would prefer to have a drop-down of certain preferred values.
