F2 stops mouse scrolling
When I am in a cell and press F2 I am no longer able to use the wheel on my
mouse to scroll up and down the page. Is it a setting that I need to change? |
F2 stops mouse scrolling
Actually, by pressing F2 you have entered "editing" mode for the cell that
your cursor is on. It would make sense that you couldn't scroll up and down the page then, because Excel thinks you are trying to work within that cell alone. -- Just a fellow Excel user here to help when I can..... F2 stops mouse scrolling
Thanks for your answers.
I have a colleague who can also scroll when he edits using the F2 fiunction. I have changed the Allow editing directly in cells option in the Excel Options but that did seem to make any difference for me. However it stopped him from being to scroll while editing. Any ideas would be much appreciated. "Annette" wrote: When I am in a cell and press F2 I am no longer able to use the wheel on my mouse to scroll up and down the page.
