Creating a master spreadsheet

In a school setting, we've been trying to get a good system for student
records. We frequently come up with better ways to organize information and
change our spreadsheets, and find that it can be rather tedious transferring
information into a new spreadsheet.

Is there a way to make a master template so that if we make changes to the
master it automatically changes all of the spreadsheets using that template?

Why not filter the master sheet and do what you want
