cannot access autocorrect options in Excel 2007
 

I can't seem to get into the autocorrect options in Excel 2007 (which I don't
like; it must have been made so simple it is difficult).

I can't enter my data because it keeps wanting to correct it and when I go
into Excel options the autocorrect option is grayed out so I can't edit it.

Oops, i only read the first part

When you start Excel in Safe mode can you use it then

Close Excel
Open Excel with the Ctrl key down
Say Yes in the dialog

Try it again
