CPU Spikes using Outlook

I am running Office 2007 and when I open Outlook my cursor will flicker for
about 5 seconds every 20 seconds. At this time the CPU usage spikes about
40-50% and I cannot do anything in outlook. Very annoying and forced me to
go back to using Outlook express which runs just fine.

I have diabled and removed business contact manager and put windows indexing
on snooze but the problem persists.

Anyone have a solution or advise I would appreciate it.

Sounds more like a question for an Outlook newsgroup than an Excel
newsgroup.
