What happened to paste special in Excel 2007?

OK, I want to paste special -- formulas and formats but the new paste
special doesn't give me those options anymore. When I just paste, it pastes
as values. How do I find these options in the new Excel version?

Louis, the Paste Special is still available. It's in a different location,
thanks to the "new & improved" (non-intuitive, IMHO) Ribbon UI.

Click on the Home tab. You'll see Paste (left most item). Click on the
little arrowhead below the Paste and the old familiar Paste options will be
listed.

HTH!

Gemini,
When I try this the "formulas" option is grayed out when I go to a new
worksheet to try to paste it. It is not grayed out when I try to paste it
over itself on the same worksheet but I want it on a new worksheet. What am
I doing wrong?

Roger,
I am not getting those options that you mentioned when I right click
either one of the locations for paste special. I get four choices: add to
quick access toolbar, customize quick access toolbar, show quick access
toolbar below the ribbon, and minimize the ribbon. What am I doing wrong?

Hi Louis! For that option to be available, you must have selected a cell
which does indeed contain a formula and then copied it (Ctrl-C). That should
be done prior to attempting the Paste operation? Have you done so?

Hi Louis

Can you explain step by step exactly what you are doing?
e.g.
Cell A10 on Sheet 1 has formula =SUM(A1:A9)
Place cursor on Sheet1 A10
Copy
Move to Sheet2 place cursor cell C20
etc.

If you describe your actions maybe we can see what you are doing wrong.

What you describe that you see when Right clicking, are the options I see if
I right click on the Toolbar, not right clicking in a cell.
