Aligning text
Dear all
I am using Excel 2003 and have just noticed that the Alignment tab in the Format Cells dialog box has more options. However, I cannot 'understand' some of them. For instance, Left (Indent), Right (Indent), Fill, Distributed (Indent). I have entered text into a cell and have tried all these options but fail to see what difference they make. The text isn't indented? Can anybody help me with these simple formatting options? Thank you. Louise |
I've just managed to work out all the Indent options. The only one I cannot
understand is the Distributed (Indent) option. What is this supposed to do to text inside a cell? I know this is extremely basic but I can't see any difference? Thank you.
