How to display a number beginning with zero

I want to display a four digit number which may or may not begin with zero,
i.e. (0215) (0050)

You can format the cell beforehand as Text, or you could type an apostrophe
immediately before the number, e.g. '0400 will display as 0400.

Hope this helps.
