I want "(c)" to appear in the cell - not "©"
Excel wants to change it for me, every time. The cell is formatted as
Text. How do I suppress this feature? I can't find it in Options. Thanks! |

You can find it on Tools | Autocorrect - it is the first one listed on
my XL 2000. Just remove it from the list of autocorrections. Hope this helps. Pete On Feb 29, 5:40*pm, frank megaweege wrote: Excel wants to change it for me, every time. *The cell is formatted as Text. How do I suppress this feature? *I can't find it in Options. Thanks! |

Another option is to press CTRL + Z to undo the autocorrect option.
This will only work after the next key is tapped and will not work after enter is pressed. HTH Martin "frank megaweege" wrote in message ...
