I know I have done it, or atlesat seen it done. There is a way to change the
column heading to text so that I can type in my own heading... right? Please let me know. PS I am not a computer dummy, I just haven't played with exel in a while. |

No, but you can put your heading in row one and hide the real column

You have never done it nor seen it done in any version of Excel. What you may have seen was the column and row headers turned off and row 1 used as titles for columns.
