Goal seek - Is there a bug?
I have a relatively simple model but when I try to use the goal seek function
it runs the maximum number of iterations and finally no solution comes up. Please note that a) THERE IS a solution. I found it by trial and error. b) In a similar model goal seek works just fine. Any suggestion? |

The ability to find a solution is dependent on the initial value of the
input. Unfortunately I tried this too. I started from a parameter value that gives

Try changing the iteration settings (Maximum iterations and Maximum change) on the Tools | Options | Calculation tab.
