Data disappears!!
Hi,
while I'm working with excel, the existing data in cells disappear, stop being seen. I select the rows with the mouse and my data is back! I had the same problem with Excel 2002, however after an office update it stopped. Now I'm using Excel 2007 (office 207 ultimate), I had all the patches but the problem is still there. I think it's some kind of a bug, but nobody else seems to have it, but me!!! |

Hi Holey,
Do you mean you can only see your data when it is highlighted? That is how it will look when your font color is the same as the fill color. If you have a white font and a white background you will only see the data when the cell is highlighted. For that to happen all of a sudden there would most likely be a conditional format doing it or maybe a macro. Just guessing as your post isn't very explicit. HTH Martin "Holey" wrote in message ... Data disappears!!
Hi MartinW,
I really wish it was that simple, however, it is more like a bug. One second I can see my data, next, it's gone, when selected it comes back, and after that i can see without highlighting. First I thought it was something to do with my computer's memory but as I said before, after a patch it was ok with 2002 version. It's really annoying this way... Thanks anyway, Holey "MartinW" wrote: Hi Holey, Do you mean you can only see your data when it is highlighted? That is how it will look when your font color is the same as the fill color. HTH Martin Sorry to ask this, but is this happening with every Excel spreadsheet you create/open, or are you referring to a specific file that this problem occurs on?
