numbers won't autofill
Hi There,
numbers, (1,2,3) won't autofill for me in my excel. Everything else does, like Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and 9:00, 10:00 11:00, but if I type in "1" and autofill, all I get is more one's. Help?? |

There are numerous ways to accomplish this.
Enter 1, then enter 2 in the next cell. Select both and drag down. After you enter 1, hold down <Ctrl as you drag down the fill handle. *Right* click when you drag down. When you release the mouse, you'll be given choices on what you want to happen. This is the way Excel works with a number in a single cell.
Workarounds.................... If you have a 1 in A1 and a 2 in A2, drag/copy will autofill down column A OR 1 in A1 only. Right-click and drag.
