i want to find 3ˆš8 ... how do i enter this in excel ...
The answer is 2. but i want to be able to setup more complex equations.

Did you mean the complex quare root?

=3*(IMSQRT(8))

Since you give the answer, I see you want the cube root of 8 [
=8^(1/3) ] but your notation is a bit ambiguous. I initially
read it as 2 times the square root of 8.
