Pasting /transposing from rows to columns.
I'm trying to copy an address from a web page and paste it to colums
in a speardsheet Excel 2000/2003. The address is like this A Man 21 High Street Anytown UK When I paste into excel it pastes each line in to a different row. paste special just gives the option to paste as unicode text or text. No transpose option. Any suggestions how to paste this address across four columns not rows? Thanks. Ian |
Pasting /transposing from rows to columns.
Do the copy and Paste Special and select text.
Then copy the pasted data straight away BEFORE clicking away from the selection. Select a single cell somewhere and Paste Special again. This time click the Transpose Box at the bottom right of the form and paste the data. -- Saruman --------------------------------------------------------------------------- All Outgoing Mail Scanned By Symantec Antivirus 10 --------------------------------------------------------------------------- wrote in message ...
