CMD

macros and file size

Hi. I have an excel file to which I have added several macros. It seems
like this has increased the file size pretty significantly. (~7 MB.....it was
around 1.5 MB). I have since deleted the macros but the file size hasn't
dropped back down. I'm a little stuck here. Any thoughts/suggestions?
Thanks in advance.

Probably not the macros themselves, but the action they took.

Sounds like your worksheets' used range is larger than what you think it is.

See Debra's site for re-setting the used range of a sheet or sheets.
