Counting If
Is there a way that Excel will count the number of cells in a column / row
dependant in on the format of those cells? i.e. count the number of cells in column A that are coloured red? |

this fuction is not built in to excel in 2003 and earlier but see this site for custom function that do that....count by color, sum by color, sort by color ect http://cpearson.com/excel/colors.htm i do not have 2007 and have not worked with this but i am told that these function are built into 2007.
