Default Screen Scrambles

Has anyone ever experienced your excel sheets scrambling or going blank when
you have more then one file open at a time? I seem to be having this problem
a lot and it has been with 2000 as well as 2007. I was hoping the problem
would clear up when I bought the new version.
Either the cells will crunch together so you can't read the data or half of
the screen will go white. With that said, the data sheet doesn't phisically
change, you can still click anywhere on the sheet where the cells should be
and they are there, you just can't it. The only way to fix the screen is to
alt-tab out to the other file and alt-tab back, but I find I am doing this
every other minute.
I have upgraded my video drivers thinking it was a refresh problem. I have
also downloaded all of the upgrades for Microsoft. I have taken it in for
service and they can't find any hardware problems.
Please help, this is getting really frustrating.
