Hi:
I have a need to place html Excel files as hyperlinks within other html files such as html PowerPoint presentations on the Web at work. With Excel 2003, this was not a problem. I simply saved the .xls to htm and then hyperlinked it within the PPT.htm file. When clicked, the link made use of the MS Web Components tool (which was a free download from the MS site with Excel 2002, but apparently integrated into 2003) and the htm Excel file "popped up" in its own window. It could then be easily converted to regular Excel by simply clicking the Excel logo located on the border of that pop-up window. Well, I do not seem to be able to do this with Office 2007. The Excel.htm file produced using 2007 does not look like the 2003 nor does it pop up from a htm.ppt hyperlink. If anyone knows what the problem is, please email me. Sincere thanks, - gg |
