Default Disable/Enable Macros Message box in Excel2007

Hi,

When I try to open macro embedded Excel 97-2003 worksheet through Excel 2007
in Compatibility mode, On few occassions I get a message box prompting me to
disable or enable macros like that in Excel 2003 and most of times I get the
option to enable macros from the message bar - Options tab.

I am unable to trace why this difference in prompting occurs. Any
information on this would be of great help.
