hi.. this is a little complicated but i believe that someone out there might
know it. i have created a drop down list to assign a type of value , which is related to an adjacent box. For example, the list can be buy, sell, trade, etc. after i select a value for that box, i have to put the value in the adjacent box. For example, if i select "buy" in A1, i put a manual value in A2 such as $2.00. On a different part of the work sheet, i need to sum up all of that type in a box. For example if i have 5 "buy" boxes, i need them summed up in the "total buy" value box, and so on. is there a way to sum up all types of manual values based on what i initially value the first box, such as buy sell etc? thank you james |
