Print preview in Excel 2003 locks computer
I have a problem and it seems to only be happening in Excel 2003. When I
click on the print preview button, my computer locks up completely and I have to power it off and then back on. It doesn't do it all the time but enough to be unproductive. It's almost like I am working to fast for Excel or if I move my mouse too fast. I have plenty of memory on my computer and have 53GB free space, so I don't think this is the problem. Has anyone heard of this before and know if there are any patches to fix it?? |

Just a guess...
Since it's a printing problem (even print preview!), I'd try a different printer (or printer driver). You don't need to have a second printer physically installed, but you do need to have that printer driver choice available. Or go to the manufacturer's web site and look for an updated/fresh version of your real printer driver and install it. And just one more guess... If you're using a network printer, does it work ok if you change to a local printer? Maybe it's network problems??? Alisa wrote: I have a problem and it seems to only be happening in Excel 2003. Yes, it is a network printer. I do have other printers also installed so
maybe there is some kind of incompatability?? I will look at the drivers and see if that's part of the problem. Thanks!! "Dave Peterson" wrote: Just a guess...
