Viewing Date when opening files in EXCEL 2003 in VISTA

When I go to open a file in EXCEL and change View to "Details", it only shows
the file name, not the date of the file. This means I can't sort by date.
Does anyone know how to change this?

Just right-click the titles area in the dialog box, then pick the details you
want displayed.
