Any chance you have an entry in the autocorrect list that's jumping in.

In xl2003, Tools|Autocorrect Options|autocorrect tab.

Does 2 give Feb and so on?
Does this happen to all sheets? Newly inserted ones too?

Hi Niek,
Dave Peterson was right,
'Autocorrect' was set up so that 1 was replaced by Jan automatically.
I deleted that, problem solved.

Thanks,
Aniko
