Seems every time I format a cell for currency (I only use US dollars), I
have to select the $ symbol, and 2 decimal places. Is there a way to set
these two items as defaults?
Thx
Dave

Hi Dave,

On the formatting Toolbar there is an icon which looks like a bank note and a
stack of coins.

If you click on this while you have the cells you want to format highlighted
it should convert it to the currency format for you.

What do you have set in Control Panel/Regional and Language
Settings/Currency?
