Column and Row Labels
 

On every excel worksheet I have seen, the labels are A,B,C for columns and
1,2,3 for rows. On my excel worksheets they both are numeric. How do you
change it back to one is alpha and the other is numeric?

Tools-Options-General (Tab).
Uncheck R1C1 reference style.
