If I have a list of workbooks within a folder, is there any way to highlight
a name or add color to a name so that it stands out quickly from the rest of
the list?

If you mean a Windows folder, I don't believe you can change the

You could make the workbook a compressed file which would change the color to
Blue.

Right-clickPropertiesGeneral TabAdvanced.
