Toolbars - how to reduce size of?

When loading Excel find that the size of the various toolbars at the top of the page are huge. How do I reduce the size of these? Thanks, John |

Those "toolbars" are the ribbon. They are purposely disigned that way to
make Excel easier to use. You can select a tab on the ribbon and then double click on the tab to hide the ribbon, single click on a tab to temporarily show the ribbon, single click again on the same tab to hide the ribbon or double click on a tab to bring the ribbon back Tyro "John Brown" wrote in message ... The ribbon's height is not adjustable, beyond hiding it altogether (Alt-F1
is a convenient way to do it). -- Jim "John Brown" wrote in message ... | Recently obtained MS Office 2007. | When loading Excel find that the size of the various toolbars at the top of | the page are huge. | How do I reduce the size of these? | Thanks, | John | | |
