The Send to command

Hi everybody,
I have a query about the send to command in file menu, I have a file which
has three sheets namely sale, stock, Stock recieved. At a given time I want
to send only sale or stock to a the reciepient as an attachment is there any
process to do that? I have tried the send to command but all it was doing is
to send it as message body.

The Send to command

How about (maybe record this as a macro) you right click the appropriate
sheet's tab, choose Move or Copy, tick create copy, pick To Book as a new
book and click ok.
Then you can 'send to' that new workbook as an attachment which only
contains the required sheet.

The Send to command

Which version of Excel are you using?

IN versions 2003 and prior there are several Send To options including email
recipient, email recipient as attachment, email recipient for review. The
first option performs the sequence you are getting. Try teh send as
attachment.

Note however that send as attachment will send the entire workbook, I am
relatively sure. If you need to send just one worksheet, you can copy and
paste that data into a new workbook of its own, then attach that new workbook
to your email.
