I am trying to change the color palette according to a journal' author
guidelines (CMYK levels for various colors), but I cannot find the option for
it in the Excel program.

Try Tools | Options | Color tab, choose a colour and then click Modify
to choose a different combination or shade.

Hope this helps.

on excel, you can only change the rgb levels. the journal only specifies cmyk
levels. are there conversion tables of cmyk levels to corresponding rgb
levels?
thanks!
