Default HOW CAN I LINK THE FILES THAT I JUST BROWSED

i was using the browsed pages button to link the files that i just opened,
but suddenly it stopped working and it just show me the web pages that i just
browsed?

can you tell me what is going on?

Maybe you were using the other button below Browsed Pages which is "Recent
Files"

hello, thank you for your answerm but i am positive that i was using the
button that i mentioned, but suddenly it stop working like that.
i am linkin adobe acrobat documents to a excel file, open the file that i
want to link, go to excel, click on the cell, open the insert hyperlink box,
click on the browsed pages button, and the address of the file was at he top
of the box, but now it just show me the web pages browsed. now the button
that you tell me just show me the files like excel, word and files like that.

i hope you understand what i am trying to say, and you can help me.

Yes, I see what you mean.

I follow your steps and in the Browsed Pages the *.pdf file is top of list.

Don't know why it is not showing up on yours.

Probably a Windows function that has been altered.

well thanks anyway, but do you know, what function probably would it be?
or can you tell me what are the windows function or how do i identify?

Believe me.......if I knew I would have pointed you in that direction.

I have no idea what could have changed the behaviour in Excel and whether or not
it was a Windows function.

If you re-boot Windows and then re-open Excel and follow your steps, has the
feature come back?

That's how I trouble-shoot these things.

Trial and error........one thing at a time.

Maybe?? Something changed in My ComputerToolsFolder OptionsView
