how to define a cell to where i can link to it.

what i am trying to do is create a hyperlink in front page that would open a
excel sheet and go to that perticular cell in that sheet.. any help would be
very greatful..

Michael

On the front sheet, insert your hyperlink to the same file and then use
bookmark to indicate the sheet and cell address. HTH

I'm not sure if this'll work for you, but this kind of hyperlink worked for me
in MSWord:

C:\My Documents\excel\book1.xls#sheet2!c99

I'm not Michael, but when I read his response, I thought he interpreted your
"front page" reference as the first worksheet in the workbook.

I thought you meant Microsoft's "Front Page":
http://www.microsoft.com/frontpage/

If you really meant just another worksheet in excel, then select the cell that
should hold the hyperlink and hit ctrl-k (or insert|hyperlink).

You should be able to follow the dialog from there.
