Creating a link for particular information
Hello!
I am recording work done by companies in different documents based on the site of the job. So all the work done at location A is in one document, location B on another document etc. The project managers access just the locations they are working on. I have been asked to monitor the work of one company across all sites, so am trying to create a link whereby whenever I enter the Company name theinformation in that row will automatically write to another document. Can this be done? |
Creating a link for particular information
You might want to provide more information or an example, it's
difficult to picture what you want. If you just want something you type in one workbook to appear in another workbook, check out these sites: http://ict.cas.psu.edu/training/howt..._maintain.html http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/ex...023381033.aspx HTH, JP On Jan 8, 6:36*pm, suek wrote: Hello! Thanks for the links.
I have straight links and have no problems there, but I am just trying to write a formula in the destination workbook such as: =(document name) (spreadsheet name) A1:G300 where A = (company name) and then get a list of all the jobs they have charged us for on all the projects upon which they work.
