I saved a worksheet in the wrong open file and now I can't recover the
original spreadsheet. It is stored on a 2GB usb drive. Can anyone help? |

This doesn't make much sense.
You use three different terms.....worksheet, file and spreadsheet. An Excel file is a workbook which is comprised of one or more worksheets. A worksheet can be saved only in the workbook in which it resides no matter how many workbooks are open at the same time. Unless, of course you moved the sheet from one book to another then saved. Why can't you recover the original? Can't find or error messages? Did you save it under another name? More details on the steps you took to lose the original workbook would help. What happens when you try to open the "wrong" file?
