ctrl+home - Excel 2003

previously in Excel i pressed ctrl+home and the cursor would move to the
beginning of the worksheet, if i just pressed home it would move to the
beginning of the row.

well i just got a new computer with the same version of excel on it and now
when i press ctrl+home the cursor moves to the beginning of the row and
pressing home moves the cursor to the beginning of the worksheet - the
complete opposite of what it used to be. can someone please tell me how to
switch the functions back??

this is driving me nuts!

thanks!

It seems like you have Excel set up to behave like Lotus 1-2-3

Try this:
From the Excel Main Menu:
<tools<optons<Transition tab
....UNcheck...everything...expecially: Transition Navigation Keys

Does that help?
