ctrl+home - Excel 2003
previously in Excel i pressed ctrl+home and the cursor would move to the
beginning of the worksheet, if i just pressed home it would move to the beginning of the row. well i just got a new computer with the same version of excel on it and now when i press ctrl+home the cursor moves to the beginning of the row and pressing home moves the cursor to the beginning of the worksheet - the complete opposite of what it used to be. can someone please tell me how to switch the functions back?? this is driving me nuts! thanks! tiffany |

It seems like you have Excel set up to behave like Lotus 1-2-3
Try this: From the Excel Main Menu: <tools<optons<Transition tab ....UNcheck...everything...expecially: Transition Navigation Keys Does that help? -------------------------- Regards, Ron Microsoft MVP (Excel) (XL2003, Win XP) "tiff" wrote in message ... previously in Excel i pressed ctrl+home and the cursor would move to the beginning of the worksheet, if i just pressed home it would move to the beginning of the row. well i just got a new computer with the same version of excel on it and now when i press ctrl+home the cursor moves to the beginning of the row and pressing home moves the cursor to the beginning of the worksheet - the complete opposite of what it used to be. can someone please tell me how to switch the functions back?? this is driving me nuts! thanks! tiffany |
