How do Iretrieve a previous version of a saved Excel wksht?

I am a newbie here and need a little assistance. How to recover an earlier
version of an Excel worksheet?
Thanks in advance.

Only if you've saved it elsewhere of the original, or emailed it to someone,
or work at a company where the MIS dept can retrieve a backup from before the
incident.

I bet you meant an earlier version of the workbook?

Do you have a backup version somewhere?

No backup version. Somehow I messed up one column and it did not sort
correctly and I saved before I realized my error.

In future, make sure you select the option for "Always create backup", which
you'll find under File/ Save As/ Tools/ General options.
