How do I sort data in multiple columns by date in one column?

My spreadsheet has 8 columns: vendor name, invoice date, invoice number
description of rented equipment, rental period-2 columns-"from" & "to",
invoice amount and cumulative invoice amount. I want to sort the data by the
invoice date in ascending order (from earliest date to latest date). Neither
my Excel "Help" books or "HELP" in the toolbar have helped. Please help.
Thank You and Happy New Year.

How do I sort data in multiple columns by date in one column?

Pre-select all 8 columns then DataSort

Sort on the Invoice Date column in ascending order.
