Should not show formulas given in excel
I had given some formulas in my excel file. I need to prevent anybody else to
see what formula I had given. If someone can help me to lock a sheet completely also it would be of great help. thanks Pillai |

FormatCellsProtection. Make sure to checkmark "locked" and "hidden"
ToolsProtectionProtect Sheet. Checkmark removed from Allow user to "select locked cells" Note: Excel's internal security is quite weak and easily cracked. Do not rely on it to keep your formulas and data from prying eyes. Gord Dibben MS Excel MVP On Sun, 30 Dec 2007 09:24:01 -0800, pillai wrote: I had given some formulas in my excel file. Ya sure, I am aware that it can be easily cracked. I am trying for something
which will make cracking it a bit difficult. If some has got something in hand it would be fine. "Gord Dibben" wrote: FormatCellsProtection. Gord gave you as good as it gets. You can't simultaneously give someone
access to your workbook *and* make it "a bit difficult" to crack your protection. http://www.mcgimpsey.com/excel/removepwords.html In article , pillai wrote: Ya sure, I am aware that it can be easily cracked.
