shortcut key to formula bar
 

Hi can I navigate to formula bar using shortcut key instead of using mouse?
appreciate yr help.

Hit F2.

If you have Tools|Options|Edit tab|Edit directly in cell
turned on, then you'll be editing within the cell--not in the formula bar.
(xl2003 menu system)

Hi,

There seems to be no shortcut key for to enter into formula bar. But there
is a shortcut key that can take you to formula wizard.
1. ALT+I+F.

This will take you to formula wizard/Insert function window and you can
select what ever formula you want to enter.(excel 2003)

Hi,

While doing some task i have come across one more way to do this.
Tools/Options/View tab/ check the formula bar check box and Ok.

By doing this the formula bar will appear below the menu bar you can either
put the formula directly or just click the fx sign and the wizard will open.
