preventing the color in a highlighted cell from printing
Hello,
Can you tell me how I can prevent the color in a highlighted cell from printing? I am creating a form and I have highlighted the cells which are required to be completed by the people accessing the form. But once they have completed the highlighted boxes and are ready to print the form, I don't want the color in the boxes to print, too. The form was created in MS Excel 2003. Thanks for any help you can give me. |

How about using a conditional format. Where you need the user to input data
change the formatting from having a colour to having a conditioanl format. (Format | Conditional Format). Set the formating such that if the cell value is empty then colour the cell. That way once the field has been filled in the colour will disappear and your printing issue should be resolved. -- HTH...
