hiding cells
 

When i select a column and then select "Hide" in the window toobar, the
entire workbook is hidden.

I only want to hide the specifiic cell, how do I accomplish this?

Use Format Cells Custom ;;;

Are you tring to hide a column or a single cell? If its column, then its
Format Column, Hide. If its a single cell then I believe you can only hide
the contents of the cell and not the cell itself

Wrong menu. WindowHide hides the worksheet.

Select a column and FormatColumnHide.

Same for a row.

Note: you can't hide a single cell, just hide the contents of that cell by
Custom Format of ;;;
