Problem getting external data using an existing connection

In Excel 2003 I was able to get external data (from SQL) that included
several related tables, link them, and filter the data. In Excel 2007, the
wizard only allows me to select one table and no filtering. Has anyone had
luck linking to multiple related tables at once?
