Best way to apply a custom number format to all files
Hi
What do you recommend as the best way to create a custom number format for any number I enter in Excel and be able to apply that number format quickly on any new number I enter in any new Excel file I create? Should I create a recorded macro in the personal file and record the steps to create the custom number format or should I create a style for it and store it in the default book template? (or is there a better way than either of the above)? Thank you very much Craig |

How about using the format painter button, that will copy all your formats from one cell to another.
