ok, thay seems to work although i have no experience with VBA i managed it,

No VBA or color number required:
Edit Find Find what: clear it if filled Options Format.. Choose Format from Cell Click any red cell Find All The number of cells will appear in the lower left corner of the Find window. |

Versions earlier than 2003 do not have this function.
Also, if the cells are colored due to Conditional Formatting it won't work.
