i have another question that im stuck on, if anyone can help Id appreciate
it alot!

I need to create a 3-D plot of the function sin(x*y) from x and y ranging

Thanks Again for your time

As far as I know, Excel cannot plot genuine 3D graphs (at least my version,
2003, cannot). By "genuine 3D" I mean a function of two variables, such as
sin(x*y). The plots you see that look 3D are really 2D graphs projected in a
pseudo-3D. They contain no more information than a simple 2D graph would.
(I've never understood why people use these. It's more difficult to see what
is really happening - or perhaps that's the reason! But that's another
story.)

If anyone knows better about this, or if this functionality has been added
to 2007, I would be pleased to hear.

It's not clear if you want advice on how to generate the values for
the graph, or how to generate a 3-d contour plot.

Andy Pope has a 3-d scatter graph download he

http://www.andypope.info/charts/3drotate.htm

which you might be able to amend, and Jon Peltier has an article on
contour graphs he

http://pubs.logicalexpressions.com/P...cle.asp?ID=447

Hope these help.
