updating pivot table
I have created a pivot table on another sheet from the sheet on which the
data for the table is located. How do I arrange so that when I change a value in the original data, the pivot table is updated? What I have been doing is 1) changing a value in the original data 2) activating the sheet on which the pivot table is located 3) clicking inside the pivot table When I do this I get a popup box relating to the pivot table. At the lower right hand of the box there is a button which says "Update" but this button appears faint. e. e. its not selectable. -- -regards |
